I'm still here.

Haven't had much to report as of late. Spring has sprung, so I'm spending more time outside and less time on a computer. When I'm not at home or elsewhere enjoying the warmer temperatures, I'm at work doing work stuff, of which there seems to be more of in recent weeks.

Some highlights -

  • Loving Game of Thrones. I haven't read the books, but they are officially on my list.

  • If you love absurdity (I do), see the movie Rubber. It's about a homicidal tire. I know, it sounds weird, and it is. But it's also very good.

  • I'm in the planning stages of a trip to Colorado in August. If anyone has any suggestions of things to do or see (keeping in mind we're more the fine food/wine/nice scenery type of visitors, not the doing-things-that-may-result-in-my-brains-splayed-on-a-rock type of adventurer), please let me know.

  • For the first time ever, I have herbs growing in pots on my deck. I've got sweet and Thai basil and thyme, and I'm doing all I can to make sure they thrive enough to end up in at least a few dinners. We'll see...

  1. If you are going to CO, you have to climb something!

  2. If you go to or through Fort Collins, I highly suggest the New Belgium Brewery Tour. Then after that you can walk over to the O'Dell Brewery for a tour/ tasting there too (I'd check times of each and schedule accordingly. And I would suggest checking and making the reservations for them now...they fill up super quick!). There is someting called "Foam on the Range Tour" or something like that where you can take a trolly or something and hit up all 5 breweries that are in Fort Collins. I don't have any specifics on that, but it sounds super fun!
