Do you consider yourself to be an optimist or a pessimist?
I am definitely an optimist. I'm an ESFP personality, which is means I'm pretty much a Pollyana who tends to whistle through the graveyard, so to speak.
As a side note, while looking for that ESFP link above, I came across this:
There is an affinity of the INTJ "scientist" for the ESFP exciting entertainer. This type of mating, however, is so infrequent as to be a mere academic interest (the INTJ is a mere 1 percent of the population and, furthermore, rarely comes in contact with ESFP).
Mr. Awesome is an INTJ. I always knew we were special.
What is your favorite color of ink to write with?
I think blue first, followed by black. I really don't prefer to write with ink of other colors, as movement of the pen on paper never feels quite right. It's like the ink is dryer or something.
How often do you get a manicure or pedicure? Do you do them yourself or go to a salon and pay for them?
I've never gotten a pedicure - I think I'm far too ticklish for that. I've only gotten manicures a handful (HA!) of times, and most of those I got from my mom, who does them professionally.
Incidentally, if anyone is interested in excellent manicures, pedicures, facials, waxing or massage, post a comment and you can get 10% off of my mom's services - she has a salon off of 75th and Mission road and is really, really good at what she does.
Have you ever won anything online? If so, what was it?
I won a lava lamp several years ago, and a mouse pad from Salon.com. I still use the mouse pad at home, but the lava lamp is in the garage somewhere. I also once won a book autographed by Ben and Jerry, but I lost it in one of many moves. That makes me sad. I have a co-worker who has won thousands of dollars worth of stuff online - she's really, really lucky.
In which room in your house do you keep your home computer?
We have one permanently set up in the kitchen, and another in the family room. We also have several laptops that roam all over everywhere.
